- Description
- Contains a variety of visual material and ephemera relating to the Cannon family's world trip. Photographs, postcards, paintings, drawings, clippings and articles make up the scrapbook. Included are photographs of famous tourist destinations, the landscape and local inhabitants. In India, for example, photographs are included of schools, temples, palaces, a zoo, and a botanical garden. In Jerusalem there are photographs of tombs and chapels that were visited. A published pamphlet of photographs of temples in Jerusalem is included in the scrapbook, as is a article entitled 'A Brief Guide to Jerusalem' (1950).
